Cataract Surgeon & General Ophthalmology
Dr.
J. Kenneth Wallace graduated with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in
Chemistry from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg,
Mississippi. Dr. Wallace received his M.D. from the University of
Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. His internship was performed at
the University of Alabama at Birmingham and his residency was performed
at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Before coming to
the Wiregrass area in 1987, Dr. Wallace served as Chief of
Ophthalmology at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.
Dr.
Wallace is a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a
Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the
Medical Association for the State of Alabama (MASA), American Society
of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the Houston County Medical
Society.
