Albany Eye Doctors Providing Treatment for Cataracts and Other Conditions

Eye Center South first opened its doors in 1980 with the mission of providing compassionate eye treatment with a family feel. That philosophy has paid off: today, founders Dr. Marnix Heersink and Dr. John Fortin are trusted industry leaders, specializing in treatment that puts patients first.

Our Albany, Georgia location continues our mission of giving patients across the Wiregrass access to the highest standard in eye disease management and surgery. We’re proud to be part of a world-class network of ophthalmologists — without sacrificing the family atmosphere on we were first founded.
