Andrew Hartzog, O.D.

Dr. Andrew Hartzog, a Covington County native, completed his undergraduate studies at Troy University before earning his Doctor of Optometry from the UAB School of Optometry. A 2023 graduate, Dr. Hartzog was honored with the prestigious Goodlite Pediatrics Award in recognition of his dedication to pediatric eye care.

During his training at UAB, Dr. Hartzog completed an externship under the mentorship of Eye Center South’s own Dr. Andrew Maxwell, further strengthening his passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Following graduation, he returned to his hometown community to practice at Ensight Eyecare, where he quickly established a thriving practice.

Dr. Hartzog is excited to serve patients in Enterprise and the surrounding communities by providing comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. Outside the office, he enjoys weightlifting, table tennis, and painting.
