Eliza McCauley, O.D.

Optometrist

Mary Eliza McCauley, O.D. earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Pre-Optometry from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky in 2017. She obtained her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 2021.

While obtaining her Doctorate degree, Dr. McCauley participated in multiple externship rotations including Kelly Vision Center, Virginia Eye Consultants and The Eye Center at Southern College of Optometry where she received well-rounded practical application experience to pediatric, teen and adult patients.

Dr. McCauley was active in student and community activities such as AOA+Link, a student service of the American Optometric Association. She served on a medical mission team to Campeche City, Mexico to provide eye exams and glasses to over 1,000 patients in need. She was also an American Academy of Optometry Student Fellow.

McCauley is a native of Hendersonville, TN. She joined the Vision Center South staff in the summer of 2021. Her hobbies and interests include Barre fitness classes, running, and do-it-yourself crafting projects. She looks forward to building her practice in the Wiregrass region.

Dr. Hill is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Alabama Optometric Association.
