Bentley Hill, O.D.

Optometrist

Bentley Hill earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Alabama in Mobile in 2018 and Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2022.

As an Optometry student, Dr. Hill completed externship rotations at the Tuscaloosa Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Denney Vision, and UAB School of Optometry where she gained valuable experiences on providing personalized care to her patients. While at UAB School of Optometry, she rotated through various clinics including Primary Care, Pediatrics, Cornea and Contact Lens, Ocular Disease, Nursing Home, Providing Access to Healthcare, Mild Traumatic Brain Injury, Specialty Contact Lens, 1917 Clinic, and Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind.

While an Optometry student, Dr. Hill was an active member in Private Practice Club, Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, and the American Optometric Student Association. She was also inducted into Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society.

She is excited to return to her hometown and joined Vision Center South in the summer of 2022. She enjoys baking, spending time with her family and friends, and being involved in her local church.

Dr. Hill is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Alabama Optometric Association.

Very attentive! I was slightly put out by the girl at the reception desk. But it turned out all good. The first two ladies I encountered were pleasant and light hearted easy to get along with. Dr Hill and her nurse were timely and professional. The two women that helped me with my glasses selection ( Shuntae and Hillary) were very helpful .
