Zsolt Bansagi, M.D.

Cataract and Refractive Surgeon

Dr. Zsolt C. Bansagi, M.D., graduated with honors from California State University at San Bernardino. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, he received his medical degree from Albany Medical College in New York. Dr. Bansagi performed his internship training at the Albany Medical Center and completed his residency in ophthalmology at Lion’s Eye Institute. Prior to obtaining his medical degree, Dr. Bansagi served in the United States Air Force while stationed at March Air Force Base in California.

Dr. Bansagi moved to Panama City in 2004 and joined Eye Center South. Dr. Bansagi is dedicated to providing high-quality cataract treatment and advanced technology in modern cataract and refractive surgery to the local area.

Dr. Bansagi has special interests and training in cataract and refractive surgery, as well as minor oculoplastic and glaucoma procedures. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Florida Medical Association, the Florida State Ophthalmology Society, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

Dr. Bansagi provides expert speciality eyecare in Panama City and Destin Offices. In addition to evaluating cataract and LASIK surgery candidates, he has a thriving practice performing examinations for general ophthalmic problems including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and corneal disorders.

Dr. Bansagi and his family reside in Panama City Beach, FL. They share a love for outdoor activities and water sports.
