Eye Center South Welcomes Dr. Kent Price, New Ophthalmologist in Montgomery

We are pleased to welcome Clyde Kent Price, MD, a board-certified ophthalmologist, to Eye Center South in Montgomery. Dr. Price officially joins our team on October 5 and will complete two weeks of training before beginning to see patients at our Montgomery location on October 19.

With more than 35 years of specialized experience, Dr. Price brings extensive knowledge in cataract surgery, refractive surgery, glaucoma treatment, and comprehensive ophthalmology. His arrival strengthens our ability to provide advanced ophthalmology care to patients in Montgomery and the surrounding communities.

Meet Dr. Kent Price

Throughout his career, Dr. Price has performed more than 12,000 surgical procedures and has significant experience with advanced surgical technologies and personalized vision correction.

Before joining Eye Center South, Dr. Price served as a senior surgeon in coastal Georgia. Earlier in his career, he founded and operated a high-volume surgical eye practice for 15 years. He has also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Ophthalmology at Mercer University School of Medicine.

Dr. Price earned his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is also Cataract and LASIK Certified by the American Board of Eye Surgery.
