Dr. Henkel and his office staff are wonderful! What a great experience I'm having with cataract removal!! Who knew?!? My left eye surgery was last week. We just scheduled the right to be done next week! What a wonderful thing to be able to see clearly again. I love Dr. Henkel, his staff and the staff at Destin Surgery Center!!!

I recently had pterygium removed from my eye and the entire experience at Eye Center South could not have been better. I was greeted pleasantly and completed the sign in quickly. Several preoperation evaluations were performed efficiently and with helpful explanations. Dr Heersink was personable, knowledgeable, and professional and completed the surgery quickly and painlessly.
He has followed up with genuine concern that all is well. I am delighted that my vision has improved and I no longer have to worry about the pterygium causing problems. I recommend Dr. Heersink highly!

Went here for ICL surgery and had a fantastic experience. The entire Eye Center South team, from doctors, to nurses and receptionists were outstanding. I never had to worry that I wasn't in the best hands, they took great care of me. If you are in need of eye surgery, go here.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes by Dr.Sebastian Heersink I could not be more pleased with the service i recieved. All visits the staff were very courteous Some lots more than others. I would recommend them to anyone. I can see now better than i ever have Thank you Dr Heersink and your staff. The picture was a nice bonus!

I would like to commend the staff at Eye Center South in Dothan. Although it was a long day for my parents who were expecting at minimum a 2.5 hour process, which the staff informed my parents in advance of, the staff from the front to the back demonstrated excellent customer service. We only expected a consultation for my dad which resulted in the physician offering to provide a laser treatment to resolve an issue my dad was having with his sight. It was certainly worth the time invested into today. My dad is already seeing better. He is 83. The staff were very patient with him, my mom, my sister, and me. They were efficient and kept us informed of the process along the way. It was refreshing to see staff working together and treating each patient with dignity and respect.

Dr. Henkel is amazing! He was thorough and spent a lot of time with me. I was diagnosed with an eye condition from another Dr and have worried since. Dr. Henkel put my mind at ease and turns out I don't have the condition I was told I had by another Dr from another practice. I was so pleased and will be going back!!!! The front desk was super sweet when I called for my appt, when checking in and checking out. I really appreciate everyone's kindness!!

Eye Center South has the friendliest staff. They go above and beyond expectations to ensure their patients are comfortable on their way to seeing better.

Katelyn Pitts did a phenomenal job of taking care of us when it was time to for our prescriptions. She gave us plenty of options to choose from and she was very pleasant to work with! Highly recommend!

Dr. Bansagi, his tech, Amanda, and whole staff at ECS made for an excellent, even pleasurable, experience. Not only did they give me the gift of sight, but they gifted me with kindness and professionalism with a dash of humor. Thank you for a great experience! Dr. Bansagi truly is doing God’s work!

Dr. Bryant and his staff are wonderful! I will definitely be going back for more Botox!
